Independent life insurance · Dallas–Fort Worth
Most people guess, or take whatever work offers. Get a real number in 60 seconds for your family, your home, or your business. Then talk it through with a local agent who shops multiple carriers for you.
I'll give you a straight answer, even if it's that you don't need more coverage.Tim Hermesmeyer · Licensed agent, TX #3259447

This is an educational estimate, not a quote or an offer of coverage. Your actual needs, eligibility, and price depend on underwriting and your full financial picture.
How it works
Use the calculator above. It takes about a minute and you don't need to share anything to see your result.
We look at your number together, talk through term versus permanent coverage, and figure out what fits your budget.
As an independent agent I compare options across multiple insurance companies and bring you the best fits. You decide.
Who I help
If your paycheck stopped tomorrow, how long would your family be OK?
Would your family get to keep the house?
What happens to the business if you or your partner died?
Coverage options
There's no one best policy. We match the type of coverage to what you're protecting and how long you need it.
The most coverage for the lowest cost, for 10 to 30 years. Ideal while kids are home and the mortgage is open.
Lifelong coverage with level premiums and guaranteed cash value that grows over time.
Permanent coverage with cash value growth linked to a market index, with flexible premiums.
Smaller whole life policies that cover funeral costs and final bills so family isn't left with them.
Term coverage sized to your loan, often with living benefits if you're seriously ill.
Pays the business if an owner or top employee dies, to cover lost revenue and replacement costs.
Makes sure the money is there for partners to buy out a deceased owner's share from the family.
Company-paid permanent coverage that rewards and keeps your best people.
When to look again
If any of these happened in the last year, it's a good time for a quick review.
Why independent
A captive agent can only sell one company's policies. I can compare many, so you get the right carrier for your age, health, and goals.

Why HIS
HIS stands for Hermesmeyer Insurance Solutions. It's also a reminder of what I believe: our families, our homes, and our businesses are gifts we're called to take care of well. Life insurance is one of the most practical ways to do that.

About
I live in the Dallas area, and I'm active in my church and school community. I started Hermesmeyer Insurance Solutions to help families and business owners protect the people who depend on them.
My background is in financial and lending software, so I like making the numbers simple and clear. You'll always know what you're buying and why, and if you don't need more coverage, I'll tell you.
As an independent agent, I'm not tied to one insurance company. I compare options from multiple carriers and recommend what fits you best.
Questions
No. The call is free and there's no obligation. Agents are paid by the insurance company when a policy is placed, not by you.
Group coverage at work is often one or two times your salary, and it usually ends when you leave the job. Most families need more, and it's cheaper to lock in individual coverage while you're younger and healthy.
Not always. Many carriers now offer no-exam options for healthy applicants up to certain amounts. We'll look at which route makes sense for you.
Often, yes. Carriers look at conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, or past surgeries very differently. That's a big reason to work with an independent agent who can match you to the carrier that treats your situation best.
Some policies can be approved in days with no exam. Fully underwritten policies usually take a few weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline on our call.
Term covers a set period, like until the kids are grown or the mortgage is paid, and costs the least. Permanent coverage lasts your whole life and can build cash value, at a higher premium. Many people use a mix.
